Image Splitter

Split an image into perfectly even tiles: pick your columns and rows (up to 6 × 6) and download every piece in a single ZIP. Ideal for Instagram grid posts and carousels, mood boards, printing large images in sections, or creating puzzle-style graphics. All processing stays in your browser.

Your image is sliced entirely in your browser and never uploaded.

About this tool

Grid posts on Instagram, large-format printing and design mockups all need one image cut into equal pieces. Doing that by hand in an editor means careful measuring and dozens of exports.

This tool calculates exact pixel boundaries so the tiles line up perfectly with no gaps or overlaps, and packages everything into one ZIP for easy downloading.

Frequently asked questions

Will the tiles line up perfectly?
Yes. The image is divided with exact pixel math, so when you place the tiles side by side they reconstruct the original picture with no seams.
What grid works best for Instagram?
For a 3-wide grid profile post, use 3 columns and as many rows as the post is tall (3 × 1 for one row, 3 × 2 for two). Post them in reverse order so they read correctly on your profile.
What size will each tile be?
The original dimensions divided by your grid. A 1080 × 1080 image split 3 × 3 produces nine 360 × 360 tiles. Edge tiles absorb any remainder pixels so nothing is lost.
Can I split into just two or four pieces?
Yes — set columns and rows to whatever you need, including 1 × 2, 2 × 2 or any combination up to 6 × 6.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Slicing, previewing and zipping all happen locally in your browser.
