QR Code Generator

Generate a QR code for a URL, plain text, email, phone number or Wi-Fi network. Pick a color theme or your own colors, choose square, rounded or dot modules, add your logo in the center, and download a watermark-free PNG.

The QR code is generated locally in your browser — your data and logo are never sent to a server.

How to use QR Code Generator

  1. Choose the content type: URL, text, email, phone or Wi-Fi.
  2. Fill in the fields.
  3. Pick a theme or custom colors, a module style, and a size.
  4. Optionally upload a logo — it is placed in the center and error correction is raised automatically.
  5. Download the QR code as a PNG.

About this tool

QR codes let people open a link or join a network by pointing their camera. This generator builds the code locally in your browser with color themes, three module styles and center-logo support — no watermark, no sign-up.

When you add a logo, the tool automatically switches to the highest error-correction level so the code still scans even though the logo covers part of it. Keep the logo under about a quarter of the code’s width for reliable scanning.

When to use it: menus, posters, business cards, Wi-Fi signs and anything that should bridge print to phone.

Frequently asked questions

What is error correction?
It adds redundancy so a QR code still scans even if part of it is covered or damaged. Higher levels make the code denser but more robust.
Can I use the QR code commercially?
Yes. The codes you generate are yours to use anywhere.
Do QR codes expire?
The code itself never expires. If it encodes a link, it works for as long as that link stays online.
Why won’t my printed code scan?
Usually it is too small, low contrast, or missing a quiet white margin. Print it larger, dark on light, with clear space around the edges.
How much can a QR code hold?
A few thousand characters — but shorter content scans more reliably. For long destinations, encode a short URL instead of the full text.
Can I use brand colors in a QR code?
Yes, as long as contrast stays strong: dark modules on a light background, and the three corner squares clearly readable.
