Split PDF — Multiple Files

Upload one or more PDFs. Choose split by pages or ranges. Download individually or as a ZIP.

PDF Splitter

Split one PDF into several. Extract every page as its own file, or define custom ranges like 1–5 and 6–10, then download them as a ZIP.

Your PDF is split entirely in your browser and is never uploaded to a server.

How to use PDF Splitter

  1. Upload the PDF you want to split.
  2. Choose “Every page as a file” or enter custom ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-10.
  3. Press “Split PDF”.
  4. Download the resulting files (packed in a ZIP when there are several).

About this tool

Large PDFs are easier to email, upload and organise when broken into smaller pieces. The splitter gives you two simple ways to do it: one file per page, or exact page ranges.

Like every PDF tool on Zibkit, splitting runs locally in your browser, so your document is never transmitted anywhere.

When to use it: when you only need part of a document — one chapter, a receipt, or specific pages for an application.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write page ranges?
Use commas to separate items and a hyphen for ranges. For example “1-3, 5, 8-10” creates three files: pages 1 to 3, page 5, and pages 8 to 10.
How do I download many files at once?
When the split produces more than one file, they are bundled into a single ZIP that you can download and extract.
Does splitting change the original PDF?
No. The original file stays untouched on your device; new files are created for the parts you selected.
Can I extract just one page?
Yes — enter a single page number, like “3”, and you will get a one-page PDF containing only that page.
How do the page ranges work?
A dash means a span and commas separate parts: “1-3, 7, 10-12” produces pieces for pages 1–3, page 7, and pages 10–12.
Does splitting damage page quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new files without re-compression, so text stays sharp and images keep their original quality.
